Adding new record:
If you would like to add new record you must be registered.
After successfull registration Add mineral photo will appear in your menu.
You must fill all required fields (yellow marked) and attach a photo Width
should be from 450 to 800 pixels, height is not limited but shouldn't be more than twice the width.
You should be critical in judging your photos.
Good lightning, sharpness and proper size are essential!
Note: The minimum size 450 pixels is because of our aim to provide only high quality photos.
Internet is overfilled with websites full of thumbs. Also is this size large enough for viewing
on PC but too small for printing. Maximum width 800 pixels is also protecting
our authors - these photos are not usable for printing so there is no reason
to steal them:)
Required fields are: mineral name (only properly identified and valid minerals!),
locality and country (you should try to search locality in list of localities first
not to add it twice in two different spellings), width and height (fill only number in milimeters!)
and class (choose from combo box).
Voluntary are fields "collected by", "year of collecting" and "owner".
Photo author field is filled automatically by your login.
This means that you are allowed to upload only your photos!!! In other case
it is copyright law violation and such photos will be immediately deleted without notice!
