This web is dedicated to mineral and locality photos. Many specimens and old pictures from localities are stored in private collections, inaccessible for public or even to professionals. Let's try together to uncover some of these treasures!

We are glad to announce that Rockhound.cz was considered as highly valuable web by The Czech National Library. It means that this web is now part of the webarchiv.cz project and backuped for future by The Czech National Library.

Database contains 3056 mineral photos and 964 locality photos :)
